Celebrate Research! Translational Research Workshop

Sponsored by the Atrium Health Wake Forest University School of Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, this event will describe the approaches that researchers can use to translate their work. Experts will describe pathways for translation, institutional resources, and mechanisms of external support including the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and SBIR/STTR funding. Keynote presentations will include Dr. Kevin Hiatt (Radiology) and Kimberly Kelly (UVA, Biomedical Engineering) who will describe their experiences in translating research.

While some information provided in this event is specific to North Carolina residents, there will also be broader topics presented that will be relevant to colleagues across the enterprise.
