Wake PREP2PhD is a 2-year postbaccalaureate program for newly or recently graduated students who would like to gain valuable research experience in preparation for PhD training. The program is hosted by the Department of Cancer Biology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and offers a competitive stipend. The program is geared toward those interested in pursuing cancer research while simultaneously gaining professional and career development experience (science communication, graduate school application preparation, scientific conference attendance, implicit bias training, etc.).
